Number five of seven children, Kathy has always been the neat-nick of the siblings. Her mother instilled order by assigning tasks for each one of her darlings — Kathy’s was cleaning and organizing since the age of nine.
At the gullible age of 21, Kathy entered the family business and became a licensed real estate agent working 50-60 hours each week for 2-3 weeks without a day off. Time management was a critical skill she developed quickly. Three years later she received her CRS designation and her associate broker’s license.
Her eight years as an active agent and 30 years experience in property management has given Kathy the ability to go into a home and know what changes can make it shine.
As an empty nester and after downsizing her residence, Kathy was ready for her next adventure. She examined her skills, experiences, talents and resources. They matched perfectly with Home Staging, Organizing, Downsizing, and Space Planning. She’s creative, energetic, possesses incredible organizational skills, leadership and business skills to carry her through. She is an Accredited Staging Professional. Kathy is also an advocate for ECO-ORGANIZING promoting reuse, re-purpose, re-gifting, repair, redistribution, recycling and refuse. She organizes with a Christian perspective.
In 2008, she and her husband relocated to Franklin County, VA. She is the marketing director of Faithful Organizers and attends Smith Mountain Lake Community Church of the Brethren. Kathy has volunteered for numerous groups and organizations in both leadership and participant positions. She is a member of the SML Chamber of Commerce and the vice president of the BNI chapter SML Business Connection.
Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and know what God’s will is, His good pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
